Olivo is open – “Discover Tuscany's finest delicacies”
Olivo wants to inspire you to cook delicious and healthy food. That's why we want to offer you high-quality delicacies straight from small Italian producers.
Through our new online shop and its products we want to share our enthusiasm for Italian food culture, which is especially close to our hearts.
We hope to inspire home cooks and families to enjoy spending time in the kitchen, to enjoy cooking and to lay the table for family and friends. Behind good ingredients and recipes there are often interesting stories, so we also want to share the stories behind the products with you.
Olivo's Christmas campaign offers some of Tuscany's finest products. Thanks to good local contacts we have, among other things, brought biscuits and cakes from Antonio Mattei, the original maker of cantucci, into our range. They are made entirely from high-quality local ingredients without additives. They taste just like homemade.
The Gonnelli family began making olive oil as early as the 16th century, and a batch of the best new-harvest products, pressed in October–November, has arrived in our shop. Gonnelli's superb fresh olive oils are made from freshly picked olives and are pressed and bottled entirely without oxygen. The astonishingly fresh taste comes through and brings a whole new dimension to many dishes in the middle of winter.
When it comes to Pasta Fabbri's artisan pasta, all we can say is: taste it. Thanks to selected grains and a slow traditional production process, the pasta is nutritious and absorbs much more sauce than ordinary pasta. Its flavour and texture are truly unique.
The Tuscan Pure Stagioni way of making natural jams and preserves takes the taste experience to a whole new level. Pure Stagioni jams contain as much as 163 g of fruit per 100 g of jam. They are made from fruit ripened under the Tuscan sun and really do bring summer into the middle of winter.
As one of the founders of our family business lives in Tuscany, working with the best producers will continue to come naturally. Early in the new year, the shop will also be getting quality products from other regions – both classics of Italian cooking and modern flavours.
We hope you enjoy our journey of flavours!
