The Campisi family business in Marzamemi, Sicily, lives in close connection with the land and the sea around it. Founded in 1858, Campisi has for five generations prepared fish caught in local waters using traditional methods first learned from the Arabs and refined ever since.

All fish sold under the Campisi brand is caught from sustainable stocks in the waters around Sicily, then cut and jarred by hand. Campisi respects healthy fish stocks and uses only lure-caught tuna. Campisi's high-quality, hand-cut bluefin tuna and anchovies are generally packed in glass jars.

Campisi's hometown, Marzamemi, lies in the municipality of Pachino, where the famous Pachino IGP tomato (protected geographical indication) grows under the hot sun. It is known in Italy and around the world for its distinctive sweetness, lovely aroma and rich nutritional content.

Besides their firm texture and delicious flavour, these tomatoes – known as the red gold of Pachino – are particularly rich in vitamin C, lycopene, beta-carotene and minerals. Worldwide demand for these flavourful, nutritious tomatoes has grown since the EU granted them IGP status, which is why vineyards in Pachino have given way to tomatoes.

The Campisi family turns freshly picked, carefully selected Pachino tomatoes into a varied range of products using recipes handed down through generations – entirely without additives, packed in glass and made to high quality standards.
