The Clara gift tin contains 500 g of traditional almond cantucci. The tin was illustrated by Tuscan artists Simone Massoni and Ilaria Falorsi, inspired by the architecture of the town of Prato.
Biscotti di Prato, also known as cantucci, made to Antonio Mattei's original recipe, are an important part of Tuscan food tradition. This traditional almond biscuit is lovely served as dessert, for example with Vin Santo dessert wine.
The biscuits are made from just five simple ingredients: flour, sugar, free-range eggs, almonds and pine nuts – with no preservatives and no animal or vegetable fats.
Biscotti di Prato are also lovely with a smooth grappa, or with coffee, tea or cappuccino.
After opening, store in a cool place in an airtight container, away from light.
