For fifteen generations, the Gonnelli family has stayed true to its philosophy of producing the finest possible extra virgin olive oil. As Tuscany's leading olive oil producer, the family has over the centuries also introduced several innovations that are now industry standards.

Gonnelli uses its own patented production methods that you won't find with any other producer.

For the family business, it is a point of honour that the olives are pressed and bottled immediately after picking.

Every stage of production takes place in an oxygen-free environment, ensuring a natural, high-quality olive oil. The finishing touch is the bottle cap, which prevents backflow.

The Gonnelli family's olive estate lies in the heart of Tuscany, where they tend 48,000 of their own olive trees between Florence and Siena. The Gonnelli brothers bought the Santa Téa estate in 1585, and olive oil has been made in the area since 1426. The microclimate of the Reggello plateau is ideal for olive oil: the olives ripen 400 metres above sea level under the Tuscan sun, which gives them their unique character.
